What would be involved in removing this disgusting drain cover so I can clean and replace it? Any suggestions on how I cut away the mortar given it appears to be sealed in there? Should it have been installed this way in the first place? Should I have been able to just unscrew it without having to cut away the mortar or is this the right way?
