Hey, my name is Paul, I'm 23 Years old and make $31,000 yearly 911 Dispatching. I have made alot of mistakes with money in my past and really want to fix things and get my like back, no only for me, but for the sake of my kids and wife. I really need advice because at this point, I don't know what to do. I guess first thing is to go over my current bills and debt.
Bills Monthly:
Lendmark: $290.00 ( Title Loan + Collateral) Onemain: $90.00 ( No Collateral) Car Insurance: $143.00 Aaron's: $150.00 (TV, mainly used for kids) Car Payment: $482.00 ( I am two months behind, my Dad has been using the car and making the payments)
Debt:
Hospital: $3,468 ( Mg youngest son was out of insurance for a year and he did not qualify for any insurance when I did not have a job, though my oldest qualified for Medicaid) Bank: $1,000 ( Negative and accounts closed, so this I what I owe) Flexshopper: $700 (Trying to make payments when I can, they keep threatening me with court)
Other things to keep in mind, I just got a job working Dispatch, before this I was unemployed for a year, this is where many bills got behind, mainly car payment. Me and my family (wife, two kids) now have insurance which takes $222 out every check leaving each check around $800 after taxes. I get paid twice monthly so my monthly income is about $1600.
I appreciate all the help, and I honestly don't know if this Is a good place to post, but I need any help I can to get out of this hole I dug myself into.
Edit: What I should say, I'm able to pay all the bills now that I got this job back. I'm just still behind two months on the car payment and don't know how to pay this debt. I already got a warrant in debt, which luckily was a misunderstanding and was already paid, but I'm sure more real ones will come.
