I saw the thread on Osprey bags and had to chime in with the Maxpedition legacy line. own 2 Maxpedition Sitka gear slingers. One for hunting season and general outdoor use has lasted 9 years and another going to work each day for the last 8 years.
To go with those I habe a Condor II that I carry for day hikes amd other hunting trips as well as store in my truck as a road side bag.
They are expensive but I've had good luck and will still be using these bags over the next several years.
