Currently I have a plastic mat on the floor of my bathroom but now I'm doing some renovations and want to have tiles instead. I'm thinking about laying the tiles directly on top of the plastic mat (since it can still be useful to prevent infiltrations). Does anyone have any good advices? Pros or cons?
