It's a Bank of America overdraft I guess I incurred when I was young and irresponsible? $247.00. Thing is, I check my credit all the time and I have never seen a thing about this. The bill collector said "We just received it in collections" and "There's no statute of limitations on things like this."
Is there anything I can do to prove this is legit? My identity was stolen a couple times and so I don't know if I trust this as a legitimate thing given that I have never seen it and it's been 12 years.
Any help is appreciated.
