A little back info: I work for a large corporation that has seen significant growth in the past few years. I am a field technician, so Im just a cog in the wheel, but my work is specialized. My review was stellar and I have never had any write ups or infractions. I make decent money for where I live (Florida) and this raise takes me from ~50k to ~53k and overtime is basically guaranteed. Given the companies success over the years I kind of feel like asking for more but dont want to come off as ungrateful or whatever. My wife says its still good and just go with. What are your thoughts?
Also, a quick Google search shows the national average is expected to be 3%. So if that’s true I am coming out ahead.
