If I get hired as commission-based FA for one of the big wirehouses but I only sell people low cost products that make financial sense, how long until I get fired?

I’d love to take advantage of their training programs, but I also want to do right by the people entrusting me with their money.

I assume you get fired if you’re not selling enough of the “right” products even if your clients are happy with you (please correct me if I’m wrong).

Trying to gauge how long I would last until they caught on to my fiduciary-like behavior :)
