This weekend our upstairs toilet overflowed and flooded the upstairs bathroom. When my wife went in the downstairs kitchen (directly beneath said bathroom) she described it as “raining indoors.” We cleaned up the water and rigged a carpet blower with some plastic bags to air out the cavity above the ceiling. It’s been blowing for two days straight. We’re not really sure what the next step would be. Im kind of paranoid that it won’t be dry all the way and asbestos or something could develop over time if I get it wrong. Any way to tell for sure the ceiling is dry before I attempt to do a repair? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2PgR6Mm
