Posted this once before but I think it got caught in the spam filter, trying again with no links...Hey DIY folks!So my son really wanted this helmet for Christmas for skateboarding that had a glitter appearance.Of course when he saw it and realized it looked a little, uh, more glittery (and particularly in rainbow colors) than he wanted, he got a little upset. Link as an example in a comment if the spam filter allows it.Rather than spoil him by buying a new helmet entirely, or force him to live with something that might actually feel a little feminine for him in a way that makes him feel uncomfortable, I’m wondering if there’s a third option that we can do together.Can anyone think of a spray, or gloss, or paint or something that I might be able to use on this helmet to make it look a little more matte?Thanks very much in advance! via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2GSpe2f
