How to get proof of low income in a divorce? Divorcing cheating husband. I have about $4000 cash, no asset / account in my name at all. I receive social security about $400 a month. I have not worked due to heart condition but I didn’t qualify for disability support because soon to be ex—husband income. I want to apply for low income housing as soon as possible so I can move out. Any advise on how to go about obtaining document as proof that I have no income. The tax were filed jointly. I am in California.
