I'm looking at a used Natuzzi leather couch and chair originally from Treeforms. The original owner claims the couch was $8,000 and the chair was $2,500 new in 2013. They are getting the receipt for proof. Treeforms has a limited lifetime warranty that only applies to the original owner, therefore if I buy the set it will not be covered under a warranty any longer.
They are asking $3,000 for both. While high for used furniture I believe these are BIFL quality and in good shape. How much value does the warranty add in for the cost or how much should I ask to discount since it will not transfer?
