I will be attending nursing school for 1.5 - 2 years (the school allows summer courses). The total cost will be about $30K, most will be covered by loans and possibly pell grants. I have the option to start Summer or Fall. If I start in the Summer I will have the ability to save $4K in cash for living expenses, or I can save $9K if I start in Fall. I want to start ASAP so the prerequisite Sciences are fresh as possible as well as being able to pass NCLEX and start working sooner.
Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Addtl info: Car will be paid off at the start of Summer; Living Expenses are low, no rent etc during school. The money will primarily be for a rainy day, uniforms, food, 1 matinee movie per month, exam prep / tutoring.
