I’m in college, and I just found out I have to buy (BUY) a $400 college textbook. I usually get used books or e-books but this class requires you to buy it because you need an access card for online homework and tutorials and stuff, and buying it online is actually more expensive (online it’s like $600). My parents can barely pay for my tuition and I don’t know what to do. I called to see if I could have my summer job back for break and they said they couldn’t hire me since I’d only work three weeks. I don’t think any other place is gonna wanna hire me if I can only work for three weeks since I’m coming back to college (I live on-campus). Do you guys know of any way that I can make money over break, like, jobs that hire people for short periods of time, or things like that? I don’t wanna get a permanent job. My current schedule is crazy since I’m in a super heavy engineering program and I barely have enough time to eat. Any advice on temporary jobs over break? I’d appreciate greatly. Thanks.
