Not sure if this is the right sub for this (sorry if it’s not) but I’m getting a little desperate here.So I’m house sitting for my friend while she’s away for Christmas and as you do I went to the bathroom. A simple number 1 but when I flushed the toilet the bowl started to fill up with water. Then all of a sudden a splosh sound and it cleared instantly. I thought that was weird but then nothing more of it until I turned around and saw the shower filling up with a brown sludgy water.I noticed what appears to be cat litter in amongst the water. So what I assume is that she or her husband has been flushing at least some of their cat poo when they clean out the litter box and that’s clogged the drain.But now their shower is full of a mixture of brown water and cat litter. The shower drain is one of those long ones that runs along the length of the shower so plunging it is out of the question (if that even was in the question to start with)I’ve got only a slight idea on plumbing and it’s not my forte.What can I do to clear the clog before they get back? via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2RgpHPw
