Noob question here
but am I correct if I say that once an investor is the first to buy a share, I guess that money goes to the company, but once that investor start to sell it and someone else buys, doesn't it start to live it's own life? Aside from giving dividents to shareholders, the company itself doesn't influence the stock market anymore and all is in the hands of shareholders selling and buying shares?
Could someone clarify this for me?
