I haven't been on Facebook in more than 6 or 7 years. I've never looked back since. But more recently, I've given Instagram a break because it started to resemble why I left Facebook many moons ago. Now I feel as though I'm forgotten. Always the last to know events or moments in people's lives.
It's a side effect of not having social media, I'm sure. And I chose to stay off of it by my own volition. I guess my main gripe would be, is social media the dominant connector in our lives now? And those of us that don't submit, are we the outcasts?
