So, I graduate in December next year and am anxious about what comes after and actually “adulting”. My goals after graduation are to be financially sufficient enough to pay off student loans that are around $75,000, credit card debt around $3,000 potentially purchase a newer car in the $9,000 range and start saving up to purchase a house. I also have a problem with not spending savings/redirecting savings towards short term goals.

Right now, I attend school full time pursuing a health administration and policy BA. when I graduate I’m guessing my salary will be in the middle $30,000 range. I am working part time in retail and have an income of around $700 a month, $160 of which goes to credit card debt (I know, I screwed up and majorly overspent trying to pay for school). The other expenses I have include around $200 a month for commuting expenses. I live with my parents so I don’t pay rent, and contribute around $20 a week to groceries. My parents have said that I am welcome to stay for up to two years after I graduate. I will probably keep my retail job after I graduate because it offers good health insurance, a company match on 401(k) and other good benefits. And I like my coworkers.

Any input appreciated! TLDR: Anxious college student looking for any advice on managing savings, lowering debt and planning for the future.
