So as of right now i don't have much money to put down and i have about two days to figure out a way to start because this is going to be a Christmas gift for my mom. But Long story short, I've looked at Gerber Life and heard bad things and I've also researched other basic plans such as a 529 but I'm not so sure about them because i'm not too familiar with any of them. My income for the next couple of months will be about 200 a month until i go off to boot camp in which i'll be payed 3k for the entire summer. I am willing to get a job if it'll help. My sister is 8 and my brother is 6 right now, what should my next steps be? I'm only 18 and don't know much about financing but this is extremely important to me and i'm willing to learn and do what it takes for my family, i just need to figure out whether there's an actual private company plan that will suit me or if i'd be better off starting a savings account.
