I don't know anywhere else to put this, but I had to tell someone.

I have now gone an entire week without purchasing any kind of fast food, coffee, takeout, etc.! A week and a half if we're only including fast food and takeout.

It is far too easy to justify the need for "something to eat" to myself. As if I don't have food to make at home for much cheaper. And even when it isn't cheaper than the dollar menu at McDonald's, it's still orders of magnitude healthier.

I know a week isn't enough to consider something a true trend, but my bank account is already healthier and I lost a couple pounds due to better eating, portion control, etc. Not that I'm starving myself, just eating the correct amount for once.

I know I'm rambling and every paragraph has started with "I" so far. So thank you for listening, and good luck in all of your endeavors!
