Just moved into a new place. I'm not finding any studs above the fire place..In which case I would use anchors or Toggles.But I think the Fire Place Flu is close behind the drywall. I'm not sure though because I don't know what code usually is for fire places.The lag bolts that came with the tv mount are pretty long.
