I am 18 and I have a great idea of about what I want to get my sister for Christmas, only problem (or maybe not a problem ) is the price. The item I want to get her will total just under $400. Am I crazy for thinking I want to surprise my sister with this expensive of a gift? We typically spend about $50 on each other. I dont want to make this a annual occurencre or make her feel at all obligated to spend this much on me in the future. I am a college student who had a full time job this past summer and work part time currently. I have no debt and just more than $15,000. Is this a smart financial decision to spend $400?
