For most in the US, a bidet is unheard of--so bear with me if you already use one. I recently purchased an inexpensive bidet toilet seat attachment which was roughly $35 on Amazon (Luxe brand). Let me tell you, it has changed my life. Its been a few months now that I have had it and I have not even gone through 2 whole rolls of toilet paper in that time. You can even go as far as not using any toilet paper at all. The bidet gets you clean, so all you really need is something to dry you off. I simply cut up on old towel into small, washrag sized squares and use it to pat myself dry (not wipe). If you still want to use tp you could just buy something super cheap, maybe even 1-ply. Again, you are just getting yourself dry. Not only does this save money in the long run after making the initial $35-$40 purchase, but it gets you far cleaner than using tp alone. I highly recommend it.
Edit: just wanted to make sure that I only use each of those towel squares once before tossing them in the washer and drying and then reusing.
