Howya!I'm re-painting the downstairs area and am having a bit of trouble deciding how I want to go about stopping a beige color (Sherwin-Williams 'Beach House') as the upstairs area is a really deep gray ('Summit Gray'), as seen in photo. My issue here is that I don't really have a separate wall to pick from. The largest wall of the living room area feeds straight through and all the way up the stairs into the loft. I don't want to go all the way upstairs with the beige, because I've got a giant decal on the same wall going up the stairs. I love it and it took forever for me to do and so I'm trying to avoid taking that decal down.Should I just leave the gray on that entire wall for a traditional transition of two colors meeting at the corner of an actual wall? The colors don't really work together well, so I've pretty much already dismissed the idea of stencil patterning a portion of the wall to tie the two together.I've toyed with the idea of creating an ombre transition at the base of the stairs, but this feels like it would look too forced.Thoughts/opinions/advice greatly appreciated!Side note: Please excuse the cotton mess in the picture.
