Hi all,apologies for the basic question, I did search and haven't found similar.We're shopping around for kitchen tiles and have decided what we want, I've just contacted a few places to get the best price. We spoke to the owner of a local store who couldn't beat the price but said he had a grade 2 of the same tile that he could sell us cheaper but he doesn't normally sell them anymore due to the inferior quality. This was new to us and from googling it seems to be a thing. PEI scale apparently.The issue is the store we were going to buy from apparently have no idea about this scale and cannot tell us what grade they stock.Is this something people keep in mind when shopping for tiles? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2DkMVO4
