Hello,My wife and I are going to retile our fireplace. It's an interior wall, basically a facade, that surrounds a gas fireplace. My wife wants a TV and she wants tile all the way up, but I don't want a TV, so we compromised by getting a TV.I got "The Frame" tv, and I like to retain it's art-like appearance by recessing it into the tile. However, to do this, I would need to have removable tiles in case I needed to remove the TV for any reason. If we replace the TV down the road, I'd like to be able to remove the tile to accommodate changing TV sizes. This is all I could really find:https://ift.tt/2SDnvPX I was also thinking I could drill blind holes in the back of the tile and use magnets.Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts for this. My other idea (which would be quite simple) would be to take MDF and build a border around the TV, within the tile, that would be held on with magnets (and be much easier because MDF is light) and paint the MDF to match the tile.Summary:What's the best way to install removable tiles on a wall? This is the tile I'll be using and I'll be installing it on cement board. Thanks! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2AGMECq
