I have a new address plaque to mount but have been unable to remove the old one. It's wood and appears to be mounted on a floating bracket - no screws through the face. It's very solid and doesn't move even when hit from the side with a hammer (I've tried all four directions). The top and bottom will flex when pried, but I don't want to damage the stone facade.I know there's a reasonable way to pull this down as the house painters did so a couple years ago, but my Google - foo is failing me.https://ift.tt/2BCxYF3 for any ideas you can offer! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2FIRdkb
