Hey all,
Not sure if this is the right sub for this, but I was thinking about ways to make my car last as long as possible.
I’ve had my car paid off for a little over a year now and it runs pretty well still, and I don’t want to succumb to another car payment any time soon especially since I am attempting to save money for a large down payment on a house in the coming months.
Some extra information;
- car is a 2012 Ford
- car has just over 80k in mileage
- car currently has no rust or other major blemishes on the outside or inside
- car is driven in the American North East, which means nice long winters with salt on the roads
- car has regular oil changes
- car switches between summer and winter tires for respective seasons
Any tips or insights on how to make this car last as long as possible would be very appreciated !
