I have a final interview with the CEO of a rather new startup in my area (they don't have a Glassdoor yet either) in order to go over logistics like start date, salary, and compensation. The problem is that I applied to this job through a contact I had currently working for the company. In essence, I bypassed the normal salary talks one would expect to have with HR early on in the process.

Glassdoor averages salaries with this job title to be around $100k in my city (19% below the national average). I've never asked for that much money and it's $25k more than I make now. Given such a large chunk of change I'm not sure how to handle this scenario. Is it bad to respond with "what is the planned salary range for this position" as a response? Given its the CEO I don't want to high ball her and potentially lose out on the position.

Edit: I should also mention I'm unfamiliar with their compensation package as well (bonuses, stock, etc...) which would ultimately help me make a salary decision as well.
