Hi all, first time poster here, and fairly new to DIY, so apologies for any mistakes.I am doing some maintenance on some shutters that have been fairly neglected. I've removed the central panels of the shutter but the panels which attach to the wall/frame off. I just cannot figure out how to get the pin out of the hinge. There is no cap, head, or setscrew on the pin. Looking down at the joint many of the pins don't appear to be perfectly round - hopefully you can see in the photo. I can't tell if the top is soldered? Here are some photos: https://ift.tt/2ONKWmk have tried applying wd-40, scraping out the bits of crap, and lots of trying to tap the pin out, but none of them will budge.I know people will say to just unscrew the hinges but this is impossible, at least on the window shutters (the hinge in the photo is on the balcony door shutter) as the hinge is located between the shutter and the wall, so the shutter blocks access to the hinge. I'm also on the third floor of a building so I can't just go up a ladder.Any help would be hugely appreciated! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2OMbRz5
