The problem - Recently I realised I fell back into a bad habit of buying takeaway coffee daily at uni (sometimes twice), and at $4 per coffee it adds up to $40 per week. This is because I struggled to find ways to have coffee on uni campus - because although I can bring powder coffee just fine, I need milk in it. Bringing milk is hard - I tried bottles (always too large and hard to clean properly and risk leaking in my backpack or going warm), milk powder (ends up lumpy or doesn't dissolve), or buying a small carton on campus and throwing most away. (I have no access to a fridge, so my backpack is my office).

The answer - I found at my local office supply store I can bulk-buy UHT single-use milk pods that don't need refrigeration. It's about $34 for a box of 240, so it's about 14c per serve. With coffee powder (maybe 5c per serve?) it's a total of $1.90 for 10 per week. All I needed is a small, rigid container to bring them in!
