While I value simplicity in my life, and want to further this as I get older, I also am likely to earn quite a bit more than average in my country. Those of you who've maintained a higher-earning job while simplifying your life, and perhaps donating quite a bit of your surplus income, how has this fitted into this 'simple life' for you?
Does changing the beneficiary of the money (from yourself, your family, your friends to the people who are helped by a charity) change how it feels to earn it, or how any added complexity it adds feels to you?
