26 going on 27, and I’m racking my brain trying to figure out where to start. Living in the Bay Area and have been working since I graduated from college, with a couple periods of unemployment. Now have been employed at a pretty exciting/famous company and am hoping to stick around for the long term. But, I have zero savings and find myself more often than not living paycheck to paycheck. How do I stop doing this and start doing better for myself?
Any ideas ranging from suggestions to tools to everything in between would be so appreciated.
FYI— I bring home about $1800 to $2000 every two weeks. Rent is $1600 per month. Transportation to and from work runs about $165 per month. And I shop... a lot. And eat out a lot as well. Two expensive downsides to my generalised anxiety and depression.
