https://ift.tt/2QrH3Fx - Ohio I replaced 2 bathroom fans a few months ago. The old ones were just basic fans and a light. The new ones had the heat feature. The electricians installed the heat on a new 20 AMP circuit from a box in the basement. The light and fan are wired into the existing circuit. The guys assured me that the 15 AMP timer would be fine but it wasn't. It would get extremely hot and would cycle the heat on and off if run for more than 10 minutes. I bought 2 new 20 AMP timers and attempted to just replace them. The pictures show the instructions I followed and each attempt. The first attempt was the 4 wire and the second attempt the 5 wire. Neither worked.Help? Much thanks. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2AT8KBF
