A few days ago I received a voicemail from a person from Balanced Healthcare Receivables stating I needed to call back about a debt I owe. The thing is, I don't think I owe anyone anything. I always pay my doctor co-pays at the visit. The only thing I can think of is that I had surgery last year but I paid any bill that came in the mail.

So now I'm worried. I spent the last 5 years building up my credit from crap to 782. I'm really worried about having debt hurt my score, especially that in looking into buying a house in the next 2 years.

I read that if you call back you admit to debt and get on the hook. But I also read that ignoring debt hurts you too. I'm not sure how to proceed. I'll take any advice. Thank you for reading!
