In The Millionaire Next Door, I read that millionaires spend about 20 minutes/day on their finances. I probably spend half an hour every week on my finances. I don't like to frequently review my portfolios to avoid reacting too soon to the market. I typically do this:
- monthly review of my portfolios
- weekly review of my budget and credit/cash transactions
- read a financial planning book/article every 1-2 months
- monthly pay bills
- monthly research new financial products/systems learned in my readings
- monthly implement these systems/products
I must be missing something because I'm far from a millionaire. Hehe.
Anywho, what do they exactly do for 20 minutes every day?
