Hi everyone, I just subbed to this subreddit because I will be graduating in the spring and I want to crack-down on my finances. Let me back up though -- I'm newly engaged (in June) and so my fiance and I are currently renting an apartment. We have a savings account together, but with me only working part-time right now, I can only save 20% of my check every two weeks.

I don't know where to start. I know that we need to save for our wedding in two years, and I know we want to buy a house someday. It feels like I'm up to my neck in debts and student loans and I don't want this to affect our possibility of getting a house someday. It feels like we will never obtain that goal of owning a house and that is just a dream in our head, however I know if we put our mind to it, we can do it.

I've tried to work on budgeting, it just feels so hard with college and working part-time. I want to invest in stocks but I don't know where to start.

Sorry everyone i'm all over the place but I Just need some insight or advice on whether any of you were in this situation at one point, currently are, and anything else you may have to offer. :)
