Purpose Quantify the Savings One Could Have by Purchasing Online vs. In Store
Procedure
- Went into 7 various stores (Target, Best Buy, HomeDepot, Macy’s, PetSmart, Bed Bath & Beyond)
- Chose 49 random products
- Searched the web for better prices

Results
The total savings on the 49 products was $2,086. The average price saving per product was $43.
Conclusion:
Based on the results (I know small sample size, but still) finding prices online is much more cost efficient than purchasing in store.
