Hey guys, i am about to have my sofa repaired by a professional.They will repair all the structural damage on the base, refit the pillows and make new upholstery for the whole thing.One thing i asked them to do is to fit a small QI charger inside the armrest but they seem hesitant as they have never done it before.We talked about it and the installation procedure seems easy, create a small cut off on the armrest inner material to fit the chargers dimensions then run the cable through the fabric.What we are both still trying to to figure out is the temperature issue. Whether it would be safe to enclose the charger inside a pillow with minimal or no air flow.Has anyone done something similar before and has any insight on the matter?Looking forward to any tips or advice! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2zJ6QmO
