I worry that i am not being a good steward of what i have and i dont want that to impact what i have in the future.
We live in a 1700 square foot house. Its no McMansion, but i do wonder why we have all of these rooms that we pay to cool and keep filled when there are only 2 people here. Why are all of the closets filled? Why are there 5 TVs?
I am wondering is there a medium? Can i live in a small house thats not a tiny house? Is there a way to pay as i go? How hard is it to learn how to build a house? I am good at slapping lipstick on a pig, but i dont know plumbing, electrical or HVAC Are steel metal buildings a good resource?
Basically i wanna live in a garage, get a tankless water heater, slap up some solar panels, and grow a vegetable garden, and call it a day. Now how do i do that.
I don't want to retire early, but i would like to retire someday. I am tired of being a slave to what i have.
