Is anybody else sick about being asked to provide feedback after every transaction?

In retail/food industry I am constantly asked to fill out a survey with the details on the receipt for a borderline non-existent chance to win some sort of prize I don't need.

While shopping online, you often can't get too far without being asked to fill out a survey about the website, your transaction/purchase or any help you received while shopping.

Most any sort of transaction with an insurer, bank, financial institution, cable/tv provider and most everything else you are being asked to provide feedback. Often they explicitly request it at the end of a transaction. "How was my service today" or idiotic leading questions like "If my service today was excellent, could you please..."

Is anybody else sick of this nonsense? I'm not opposed to providing positive or negative feedback if warranted, but I despise constantly being asked to it when I have no reason to want to provide feedback.

This is just one more thing making my life needlessly complicated. Being asked gives me mild anxiety and significant annoyance. The person asking is generally only asking because their employer makes them. I'm not rude or disrespectful to these people, but my default answer is always no.

I think as consumers, if this sort of thing is irritating us, we need to either tell the businesses that we deal with that we don't want this (perhaps by way of completing a survey, if we are going for irony), or not patronize businesses that do this.

I'm sick of my feedback being solicited, I want to conduct my transactions quickly and efficiently, if I have an opinion or feedback worth sharing, I can do that on my own.
