Apologies if this isn't the best place to post.So some quick back story: I'm painting a bunch of plastic (and some rubber) snakes for a Halloween costume (Medusa-- so the snakes are a necessity) for next weekend. I've done this same vostume before and had no troubles with spray paint that time.This time I used "quick dry" metallic Rust-Oleum spray paint and it still hasn't dried after 2 to 3 days. Most advice I've found online is along the lines of waiting 1 week+ for it to dry, curing in the oven, etc. None of these are really options for me to make it work by next Saturday.Any advice on quick fixes for spray paint that is still tacky? Clear acrylic top coat? Clear top coat of spray paint?? Something else??Any advive would be greatly appreciated!
