So I got a pair of Timberland Pros, the direct attach 6” steel toe boots which I’ve worn almost everyday for work for the past 14 months. It seems like the waterproofing around the toe area has given up about 8 months in. I’ve only treated the leather once with grangers though. Is that supposed to happen? I’m considering getting a pair of red wings to rotate as work boots. How would they compare? I personally like the fit and comfort of the timberlands, but it’d be nice if my toes don’t get damp everytime it rains...
