Ten years ago I bought this set after a inter-provincial move, to tide me over until I got my good tools from storage. I'm still using them all the time, they're my good working set now. In all that time, I only broke the quarter drive ratchet and the 7/16ths 3/8 drive socket, and the selector switch broke off the 3/8ths drive ratchet. I'm not a pro mechanic, but I change and rebuild my own motors and haven't paid a mechanic for anything in decades, work as a farmhand/trucker/welder/rigger/cowboy whatever depending on the season, these things have been used ridiculously hard for a kit I found on sale for 90 bucks, and stood up like Snap-On made them. Why I'm making this post is because today I phoned in to get that one socket and the two ratchets replaced, their lifetime warranty is for real. No questions asked other than the serial numbers and my name and address, they're in the mail. Here's a picture, I don't think they make that exact kit anymore, but I looked at a real similar kit the other day and the serial numbers on the corresponding parts have not changed, nor their appearance, so I bought it for my step-father. They also come in gun metal chrome now instead of just shiny too. I should mention I never liked the "feel" of the ratchets, the gears were too big, so when they broke I just went and bought a set of 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 drive JET brand ratchets, which are a serious mechanic brand up in Canada anyways, and they are holding up extremely well.
