I can’t tell if I’m breaking rule 3 or not... this is a specific question about a project I’m working on, but I’m technically looking for a recommendation?Anyway, does anyone know of any “secure” automatic gate openers, or how I can modify the Mighty Mule? Mighty Mule offers a solar powered automatic gate opening solution that I like, but anyone can push through the gate and (supposedly) damage the arms. They offer a lock that holds up to 2500lbs resistance, but this defeats the point of having an “automatic” gate opener. I might as well keep getting in and out of my car to keep doing the lock and chain method.The gate type is a dual swing tubular farm gate that is 10ft per gate (20ft entrance). They are aluminum and weigh 40lbs each.
