Looking for a leather sofa. It is often quite hard to find out info on manufacturing techniques online and with furniture it is hard to tell if you are paying for quality or just a famous designer/brand name. Looking for something that has a dovetail or tongue and groove joined solid wood frame, and preferable full grain leather and down/feather (not foam rubber) cushions.
I've heard Poltrona Frau is a good choice for high quality that will last a lifetime, but I would prefer to keep it in the $4-8K range if possible and not the $10-15K range.
I want something with a modern or mid-century look, not traditional.
