Hi, y'all!
I need some help picking out a new watch. I have some criteria to keep in mind, but please let me know if I need to lower my standards in order to find the quality I'm looking for. I want to wear this watch daily to the office and occasionally on weekeds, so it should be visually attractive. I am an average-sized woman, so my wrists aren't tiny but they aren't man-sized either. I like the look of a full watch face but I don't want it to eclipse my wrist/hand. I dislike metal bands for both look and feel. I would prefer analog but am willing to consider digital. Most importantly, I want this watch to be low maintainence and actually last! Maybe not a lifetime, but at least 10 5years.
Budget: up to ~$200, but I can be flexible for the right product.
I started with previous BIFL request posts, but didn't see anything that totally matched my query. I really love the look of this MVMT watch ( shoutout to u/mercenarypsyduck for the comment on this that tuned me in). I looked at this buying guide from r/watches for affordable alternatives and found some viable options: I like the look of the Bahaus 6046-5 and Tisell Bauhaus but don't know much about their quailty.
P.S. Yes, yes, yes I should ask r/watches for advice. I've see it on every watches request post. BUT I did see a comment from a r/watches moderator on this post noting that it's not a great place for practical consumer advice. I am here for practical consumer advice, please! Thank you!
EDIT: Sounds like 10 years is maybe unreasonable for a watch to last, so I've updated it to 5.
