Hi everyone! So im currently doing a project on install the "lifeproof" flooring in my basement. But im currently debating an issue im having. I want a subfloor to helm keep floors temps up during the colder season. Recent i installed 1x2 wood as a frame and put plywood on top. few days later i noticed it all warped prior to installed the floor. This past spring i had a french drain system installed due to water issue and has been working great! . so my question is, i was thinking of doing the new subfloor by drilling in to the concrete to help keep it solid as it wasnt the first time around. Im concerned the water may find its way up through the holes that will be drilled. Is there something i can do to check/prevent this from happening? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2NOYpdb
