I'm 23 years old and just graduated college earlier this year. I'm basically free lancing (have been for a couple of years), and am due to have around $30K in the bank by the end of this year. I realize I'm in a unique position as most people my age, especially flat out of college, are dead broke. If you were in my position, what kind of moves would you make? With the nature of free lancing, monthly income varies. Some months I only bring in 4k (could be less than that on a bad month), others can be closer to 7-8K, just depends on the opportunities. I don't want to move into a house before my income actually becomes steady and reliable, but I also don't want to live with my parents much longer (although I understand an apartment is basically a waste of money).
Idk, just looking for thoughts I guess. There aren't many in my position (who did it without their parents giving them money anyways) so I just don't have people to talk to about it.
