So, Idk where to post this. I read online that mushrooms go bad in 4-7 days in the fridge.
My partner does all the shopping since I'm disabled. I checked the mushrooms in the fridge yesterday and they said "packed on 10/14", so I told my partner to just buy a new thing of mushrooms because I don't want to risk it... She goes ahead and gets mushrooms packed on 10/16...
She clearly gets annoyed with me when I waste food, but it's dangerous for me to get food poisoning with my health conditions and I cannot risk it. She knows this, so I don't understand why she doesn't check the expiration dates, then gets mad at me when I don't want to eat old food. Also, she doesn't pay for the food. I'm poor and I'm the one losing here.
Anyway, I guess my question is, are they safe to eat. They're so old at this point. The ones she got yesterday look worse than the 10/14 mushrooms.
