Hey all. Early 30's, 20% FI here targeting 39 for RE.

I work from home full-time doing Software QA (testing). I like my job, and even the company I work for, and while I don't consider myself underpaid, lately I've been feeling that I could be making 20-25% more elsewhere and have started casually perusing LinkedIn and other online job sites just to see what's out there. It goes without saying that a pay raise of that magnitude would greatly benefit my FIRE projections.

The chances of finding another job that allows me to work from home full-time are slim. Now, obviously, I can easily calculate what a daily commute would cost me in fuel, maintenance, etc. But there's also the time factor. Not just time commuting, but time spent on daily grooming, hygiene, etc. that would be expected of anyone working in an office. And there's also the convenience of my office being just a few steps from my bed. Really, it can be summed up by saying that going back to office work would be a major loss of flexibility. The flexibility I currently enjoy could be extremely useful once I've reached FI and am looking at my options for RE.

Given all that, I'm having trouble placing a value on how much WFH is worth, which I would need to figure out before speaking to potential employers about salary expectations, so I'm coming to the community. How would you all value the ability to work from home full-time?
